The interview session is called “Meet the Monsters” and recently Rhythm Monster, the global website that looks at the world’s cultures of drumming, had BC drumming icon Scott Robertson on the hot seat.

Robertson runs the Robertson Drum School, which has produced top level pipe band drummers throughout BC and elsewhere. He spent most of his career in the piping and drumming community, plus jazz, swing and cover bands. He was also a member of the 1979 Triumph Street Pipe Band which won “The Sash” at the World Pipe Band Championship. Scott takes a look back at the development of drumming in British Columbia over the past 40-years.
