There are two Mini-Gatherings for 2021/22: Saturday November 6, 2021 and Saturday February 19, 2022
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2021/22 Mini-Gatherings are being conducted virtually by adjudication of submitted video recordings.

Order of Play – OOP
For the November 2021 Mini-Gathering, all “early bird” entries received by 11:59 pm September 26, 2021 will be considered to be randomly received on September 27. Entries received after this date and time, order of play is first to enter, last to play format.
For the February 2022 Mini-Gathering, all “early bird” entries received by 11:59 pm January 17, 2022 will be considered to be randomly received on January 18. Entries received after this date and time, order of play is first to enter, last to play format.
Orders of Play are published one week before the competition and Events Schedules are published 3 days before the competition, all on the main page of the BCPA website.
To provide amateur players with regular opportunities to test the preparedness of their new competition tunes for the return to the outdoor season.
- The Grade 1 Piping, Grade 1 Snare Drumming, and Intermediate Tenor Drumming competitors with the highest “Super Aggregate” score from the Mini-Gatherings and Annual Gathering combined
- Winners will receive up to a maximum of $600 CDN toward an airline ticket to Toronto, ON, Glasgow, Scotland, or Kansas City, MO to compete in the George Sherriff Memorial Amateur Invitational, World Solo Drumming Championship, or Midwest Highland Arts Fund Winter Storm respectively.
