This Sunday, June 2nd the Celtic Arts Foundation will be hosting a free event titled “A Celebration of Piping” at the Littlefield Celtic Center, 1124 Cleveland Ave. Mount Vernon, WA. The afternoon will feature high-level piping performances by local Washington and BC based Pipers, a silent auction to raise money for piping and drumming competitions in the Pacific Northwest, drawings, and an extensive whisky bar.  Celtic Arts Foundation Beginning Piping Classes
Kevin Auld, head instructor of the Northwest Junior Pipe Band, will be the MC for the
event.

Funds raised through our silent auction will benefit the piping and drumming competitions at the Skagit Valley Highland Games, the Pacific Northwest Highland Games, the Portland Highland Games, and the Pleasanton Highland Games. Funds will also be raised to support the addition of a new piping competition, the Skye Richendrfer Memorial Jig Competition, taking place at the Skagit Highland Games. Silent auction items include donated prizes from the Celtic Arts Foundation, Tartantown, Portland Highland Games, Pacific Northwest Highland Games, Bagpipemusic.com, Jack Lee, Zephan Knichel, and more.
