The Washington Piper Association's final
Mini Gathering of the year was a success. It was, like all the others, very well run and
organized.

There was a good turnout of both players and spectators. It is great to see such support given by the local piping community.
Each piping class played
two selections at two separate times. The judge was the same for both events and made an
effort to talk to each competitor as well as write comment sheets.

There was only one
drummer this time, but she played in front of a judge too.

The WPA events are a very positive environment for competitors, as well as good practice for outdoor contests during the summer.
