Getting your Results

Once the class that you competed in is complete the adjudicator’s sheets will be taken to the administration tent. It takes them time to enter the results into the computer. After they do this the results will be posted near the administration tent. Do not try to get results until the results are posted.

The results will show each competitor for the first 6 competitors. After the first six all except the last competitor will be posted on the results printout. Once these sheets are posted you can get your results. To get your results you should go to the administration tent and give them the grade and class that you competed in. You can collect multiple sheets at the same time. You will receive any medals or certificates that you have earned at the same time.

Within a few days the results from the competition will be posted. To find results for a specific games press on the pdf icon for that particular games. The first page of the results will show a summary of the winners in that competition. Following that you will see all placings starting with grade 5 and ending with the bands.

Games Aggregate and Grand Aggregate

Aggregate points are calculated from each games and a grand aggregate is calculated for the year. The number of solo placings (which earn aggregate points) is equal to one less than the number of competitors who played to a maximum of six placings. The number of solo prizes awarded (shown in brackets) for the number of competitors who played is as follows: 1-2 [1], 3 [2], 4-10 [3], 11-15 [4], 16-20 [5], Over 20 [6]

Games aggregate points are determined by the BCPA aggregate points system (88, 56, 38, 25, 16, 10 for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th respectively). Games aggregate points for band contests are awarded only for the overall result Grand Aggregates are determined by the Games aggregate points

Each games will have an aggregate winner for each grade. These will be listed on the first page of the results. Some games will have either a medal or trophy for earning the games aggregate.

Grand Aggregate points are calculated by adding all the points from each of the grand aggregate qualified games. Grand aggregate qualified games

The Grand Aggregate results are updated after each qualified games. The top section will show the results from each of the qualified games and the total to date. The link to see the grand aggregate results is the same as for the day’s results.
