The Harrison Highlanders Pipe Band is a community band with members from Maple Ridge to Agassiz. Wearing the Wallace modern tartan, we play at parades and community events throughout the Fraser Valley. We enjoy collaborating with other bands for commemorative events. Harrison is a recent member of the BC Pipers Association, and we strongly appreciate the hard work of the Association in support of Highland music throughout the province. We welcome new members, provide instruction to learners and support players wherever they are on their piping and drumming journey. Our band is active most of the year. We take a short break in the late winter (February) after Robbie Burns Day activities. Our parade season starts in June and we are quite active through to Remembrance Day including a Santa Parade in late November!
Although not a competition band, the Highlanders did compete in the 2025 Annual Gathering and won the grade 5 competition! Our primary emphasis is on good chanter sound and ensemble playing, performing interesting music and serving our surrounding communities. It is all about including every member on our path toward quality sound and, of course, having some fun!

Hello, Are you looking for drum instruments for a pipe band?
Hello from Chilliwack, I’ve seen the band play @ our Legion #295 for Nov 11th. My question is, is there anyone in the band willing to play @ our 55th Anniversary July 4th. My husband is a piper who started the Terrace band 52 years ago. Unfortunately he can’t play anymore due to health issues.
Thank you for your inquiry Wanda, you will receive an email.
