McILWAINE, Robert Henry, CStJ, CD (1941-2025)
Bob was a long serving BCPA Trustee/Counsellor through the 1990’s and 2000’s and was instrumental in transforming the BCPA trust fund to an endowment with the Vancouver Foundation — for the long term benefit of the Association.
Though a musician throughout his life, Bob did not take up the pipe until the age of 50. Despite the late start, he became a dedicated student of piobaireachd, competing in the amateur grades.
A memorial service will be held at HMCS Discovery (1200 Stanley Park Dr., Vancouver) on Monday, June 16, at 1:00 pm. If you wish to attend, kindly RSVP to <seawinds41@gmail.com> .
