As most pipers and band members are aware, we lost a great friend to us all, Ken Eller, who passed away earlier this summer.

Ken, know affectionately as “The Captain”, was an iconic figure in the piping world and a close friend to so many on the West Coast. We will be hosting an informal pub memorial and get together for all his friends to share stories and a beverage in his memory.

The date will be Saturday, September 14, 2024 at the Sapperton District Taphouse, 421 E Columbia St, New Westminster ( formerly the Fireside). Should wrap up around 9:00 p.m. No kilts, no formalities required.

Bring along your stories, and any ideas for a short video(s) we can share with the memorial that will be held in St Catharines Ontario, October 5, 2024.
