David has given many years of outstanding service to piping. In addition to success as a solo piper, he has played a key role in pipe bands such as the Dowco Triumph Street Pipe Band, Simon Fraser University Pipe Band and Scottish Power Pipe Band. He is a top grade adjudicator with the RSPBA and the BCPA where he holds the role of President.

Through his leadership, generosity and commitment he has helped strengthen our great piping community while fostering the enduring links between pipers worldwide. His contribution reflects the finest traditions of our art excellence in music, generosity of spirit, and a determination to pass our heritage on to generations.
