Centennial Pipes & Drums looking for Players!

Pipe Major Laurie Duncan of the Centennial Pipes & Drums is issuing a call to all present and past Legion pipers and drummers to join their band for a special presentation at ScotFestBC, June 20. All pipers and drummers who have played in, or are currently playing for, a Legion branch are invited to join the performance. Laurie is hoping to gather together as many former and current members of Legion pipe bands to mark the 100th with a special performance at the Highland games. The ceremony will involve the president of the BC/Yukon Command, Coquitlam Mayor Richard Stewart, a provincial RCL honour guard and a performance by the Centennial Pipes & Drums who will lead the group through the park and on to Piper’s Field at 1:00 pm.
