After review and thoughtful consideration by your Board of Directors there has been a slight increase to the BCPA membership fees this season. The costs of running our Association continue to increase, from venue rentals, insurance, medals and awards, trophy maintenance, website, and communication platforms, and the many other expenses that go into delivering quality events, competitions, and programs we have all come to expect and enjoy.
British Columbia Pipers’ Association Membership fees for 2026-27:
- Active Playing Member $75
- Active Non Playing Member $ 75
- Junior Member $50
- Family Membership $100 for up to five family members, with additional family member $10 each. All family members must reside at the same residence.
- Pipe Band Member no change
- Highland Games Member no change
There is a great deal of work happening behind the scenes, and the BCPA Board is committed to continuing to provide more value and more opportunities for our members. In the coming weeks and months, you will hear more about bursaries, scholarships, educational opportunities, and new initiatives.
The BCPA is strong because of it’s members – the competitors, families, teachers, volunteers, judges, stewards, bands, games, and supporters who make up this remarkable community. Our responsibility as a Board is to support that community and keep putting the musicians and our membership in the centre of the decisions we make.
We value you, your involvement, feedback, and your membership renewal. Stay involved, become involved, and encourage others to become part of our Association. Thank you for your continued support and trust. We look forward to an exciting year ahead together.
See you in November at the Mini Gathering, Volunteer and Awards recognition, and the AGM,
